Fancom’s objective is to create the optimum conditions in the animal environment as well as provide business management critical data. This is done by combining climate control, feeding automation, biometrics and data management. With iFarming Fancom goes one step further. Through a combination of Precision Livestock Farming and information technology it is possible to improve these basic processes in the house. The result is an animal-friendly, sustainable and profitable production!
 

THE POSITION ESSENTIALS

• Fancom is a global leader in systems automation and management data processing for livestock and other farming.
• Extended market development requirements: Fancom has a high market share in Europe and Russia. Further impressive market opportunities exist in regions like Latin America and the Far East.
• Strong sales growth with the iFarming concept.
• The emphasis of the Company is on state of the art R&D and subsequent product development along with a well organised distributor network in all of the local markets served. The balance of independent distribution augmented with direct project selling is essential.
   

THE PROFILE ESSENTIALS

• The ideal candidate should have broad (marketing and sales) experience of at least 10 years with both independent distributors and the b2b market, the latter part having gained experience in a general management role. Experience in the agricultural and/or agriculture related markets is preferred.
• He/she should have sufficient strategic skills to play an important role in the further development of the company (for instance in the area of development of hardware and software products) and should have sufficient seniority to act as a coach and leader to the other members of the management of Fancom, plus become a strategic member of the CTB, Inc. senior management team.
• Ideally the candidate is a Dutch or Flemish national who commands the English and German languages fluently. Command of any other European languages would be an additional advantage. Personality is of overriding importance.
