iFarming

iFarming is an animal friendly protein production system that generates higher profit. Unlike traditional farming, iFarming is sustainable in metropolitan areas.

Through a combination of Precision Livestock Farming and Information Technology it is possible to focus on inprovement of basis processes in the farm from climate control, automatic feeding and biometrics data.

What is achievable
iFarmers strive for sustainable profit against minimal costs, to get the best out of their animals. They find that result back in their annual accounts. As an example: our top iFarmers generate up to 100.000 Euro extra profit from as little as 160.000 broiler places.

Welfare monitor
By using iFarming it is possible to monitor and analyse a large number of parameters from the European research programme Welfare Quality® and to place an objective value on the welfare of the animals in a particular production round.

Less environmental impact
Our iFarming systems contribute to energy-saving and lowering the emissions of ammonia, dust and noise. This helps the poultry and the pig farmer to be better equipped to meet the demands placed by legislation. Ammonia reductions of 60% and energy-savings in ventilation up to 75% are very feasible.

iFarming is characterised by the automatic and continuous monitoring of all ambient conditions in the house, combined with animal-based measurements that registers the welfare of the animals.  The result, a sustainable and profitable production!
