Modern layer house for Michael Rake
The new house is 120 m long and 18.5 m wide .The birds are housed in a small group rearing system. The cages are configured in 7 rows, each 9 tiers high. Total egg production per year is 26 million eggs. Mr Rake uses the FarmManager management software to clearly display all the information, such as climate, feed, water and egg data, from his control computers. He uses the handy overviews and graphs to analyse his production process. Thanks to the WebLinkBox Mr Rake can also call up this data, even if he isn't actually present in the house.

MTT climate system
The new house is equipped with the MTT layer climate system, specially for layer hen housing. It creates a uniform climate throughout the entire house; the 7 rows of 9 tiers presented quite a challenge in getting enough fresh air to all the birds everywhere in the house.
