Entrepreneurship in an innovative sector

From 14-18 November 113 countries worldwide will host the Global Entrepreneurship Week. During the GEW 200 activities will be organized in the Netherlands. These activities will give young people the opportunity to make themselves acquainted with entrepreneurship, in the widest sense of the word.

The GEW kick-off takes place in the Evoluon in Eindhoven on Monday afternoon 14 November and will be visited by 1,200 enthusiastic youngsters from 15 to 35 years. Starting 13:00 hrs. they can have a look at the latest innovations on the ground floor of the Evoluon. Fancom will also show its innovative and entrepreneurial character by showing eYeNamic. Around 15:00 hrs. Minister of Economics, Agriculture and Innovation, Maxime Verhagen has been invited to do the official opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Week Netherlands. After the opening by Mr Verhagen several well-known Dutch entrepreneurs will be interviewed by Humberto Tan, during which also the audience will be actively involved. Alternately with the interviews there will be time for some special acts. All this will result in a sparkling, but mostly enterprising show.

Fancom participates to show the innovative and entrepreneurial character of the company, but also of the sector in general. The intensive livestock sector is a sector with a high extent of entrepreneurship in which one is receptive to innovative ideas. We would like to show this to the young people!
