Fancom presents iFarming
During the Landbouwvakbeurs, Fancom presented iFarming, the new name for sustainable animal husbandry. iFarming bundles social and financial aspects and generates solutions for livestock farming of the future - a situation where the interests of farmers, consumers and society are balance.
The foundation for iFarming is our integrated systems for climate control, automatic feed and biometrics. The knowledge gained from these systems is converted into optimising operational management, so that this complies with regulations and legislation and matches everyone's wishes. Those of today, and certainly those of the tomorrow too.
During the trade fair Fancom alerted visitors to the iFarming event that will be held on 6 June 2012. Various lecturers representing animal welfare groups, the political arena, the business community and the retail sector will highlight the current problems of the intensive animal husbandry sector from their own perspective, and together with farmers discuss how to prepare for the future by keeping their businesses healthy and profitable.
